Tip Credit is an independent referral partner of Tip Tax Refund, a CPA firm. We are not a CPA firm, do not prepare tax returns and do not give tax or legal advice. Eligibility, the amount of any credit and any filing are determined and prepared by Tip Tax Refund.

Estimates

The calculator gives an illustrative figure from the numbers you enter. It is not a determination of eligibility or a promise of any amount. Results vary based on each business's tax situation.

Fees

The estimate is free. If a credit is recovered, Tip Tax Refund charges 25% of the credit recovered, as set out in the engagement you sign with them. Tip Credit may receive a referral fee from Tip Tax Refund; it does not change what you pay.

No government affiliation

We are not affiliated with the IRS or any government agency.

Text messaging (SMS) program

Tip Credit (operated by Cypress Consulting) sends text messages to business owners who request a FICA Tip Credit estimate and opt in by ticking an optional, unchecked box on our form. Messaging use cases: texts about your estimate and application (confirming your request, sending your application link, arranging a call and following up), and, only if you tick the separate marketing box, occasional marketing texts about tax credits and services for your business. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Opt out: Text STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one final confirmation message. Reply START to resubscribe.
